My endangered species would be "Gorillas", typically gorillas live in the tropical rain forest with swamps and low wet lands. These tropical rain forest are located in South America usually the temperature is warm year round with tall trees. The trees are recognized by their trunks but can be identified but the type of flowers they grow. The rate of rain is typically around 93 percent but the can drop to about 68 percent. In the rain forest three major animals that live under the trees include the great ape family, sloths, and the tiger. In the greater ape family there is the chimpanzees, orangutans, bonobos, and the gorillas. The gorillas stay on a vegetarian diet and roams the rainforest floors. Their diet include many fruits, leaves, plant stalks, and the insides of plant stalks. The younger generation of the great apes spend their time climbing trees. Due to hunters the great ape population has decreased. There are less then seven hundred apes in the rainforest today. But thanks to the world animal protection without them there would be less apes then that today. The chimpanzee eat plants, animals, seeds and fruit. The chimpanzee are normally found in Sierra Leone. The Chimpanzee stays on the ground during the day and builds nest in the trees at night to rest in. The sloth lives in the trees and move very slow. They eat, play, sleep and give birth upside down. The sloth slow motion helps then not to be noticed as much. The sloths can be hunted by jaguars, humans, and Megalonychidae.
